NEXTCHEM has been awarded the technology licensing, the process design package and catalyst supply for a Maleic Anhydride plant to be located in the Salalah Free Zone, in #Oman.   ➡️ NEXTCHEM strengthens its global leadership in maleic anhydride technology by offering its subsidiary Conser S.p.A.'s comprehensive package, including catalyst.   ➡️ The maleic anhydride plant, finalized to a future production of biodegradable #plastics, will have a capacity of 50,000 tons per year.   Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dTAnZqHh

NEXTCHEM, through its subsidiary Stamicarbon, has been awarded the licensing and the Process Design Package for the upgrade and expansion of El Delta #urea plant in Talkha, Egypt. ➡️ Stamicarbon will provide its proprietary Ultra-Low Energy Design that substantially lowers operating expenses (OPEX) and reduces energy consumption for the production of urea. ➡️ This technology, part of the proprietary NX Stami Urea™, achieves a 35% reduction in steam consumption and a 16% decrease in cooling water use. NEXTCHEM, through its subsidiary NextChem Tech, has been awarded by SOCAR two contracts for process design packages and licensing to upgrade the Haor complex in Azerbaijan, leveraging on its proprietary NX Sulphurec™ technology.   ➡️ NextChem Tech will execute a technological assessment and a process design package to upgrade the existing #sulphur recovery unit.   ➡️ In addition, NextChem Tech will provide the licensing and the process design package within the frame of the second phase of modernization project in Haydar Aliyev Oil Refinery for a new sulphur recovery unit to reduce the environmental impact of sour gases.   Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dNvTDBSF

During the event, HyDEP srl's Mario Dragoni delivered an insightful talk, "Fueling the future: Green ammonia as the runway to the clean energy revolution," sharing key ideas on producing ammonia from green hydrogen. What’s clear after these three intense days? The role of hydrogen in the clean energy transition is undeniable, and we’re always at the front, making it happen. Wherever hydrogen goes, you can count on us to be right there - pushing boundaries and driving the future forward.

🔄 The circular economy is the only way forward, and we’re all in to make it happen ASAP. We attended the “NanoInnovation Conference” at Sapienza Università di Roma to discuss #recycling and reuse at the dedicated event “S for Sustainability: Reuse, Recycling, and Environmental Impact for Sustainable Development.” Our colleague Francesca Chionchio shared insights on our innovative plastic waste chemical recycling methods, especially our NXRe depolymerization technology.
