Emerging healthcare technologies have contributed to markedly improved living standards and life expectancy. However, the gap between lifespan and healthspan is approximately 9 years. To address aging-related challenges, policy-centered interventions and digital health innovation are employed to promote healthy aging and related preventive care. Recently, our associate, Mahdi Roohnikan attended the Collision Conference, held in Toronto from June 17 to 20, 2024. Known as “North America’s fastest-growing tech conference,” Collision brought together #Fortune500 companies, groundbreaking #startups, and world-class speakers. 🔍 Conference highlights: ◼ The event showcased dynamic startups, vibrant ecosystems, visionary investors, and cutting-edge advancements in deep tech and AI. ◼Talks like Vinod Khosla's exploration of "the path to an AI utopia" were particularly enlightening, adding to the event's richness and depth. ◼ It underscored these fields' pivotal roles as global focal points for shaping the future.  ◼ The event also highlighted Canada's strategic position in early-stage ventures, cementing its influence in the future of disruptive technologies. We also congratulate VoxCell BioInnovation! 👏 We are so happy to see that #TechBio startup was selected among the finalists and won the competition! Their groundbreaking work involves 3D bioprinting imitation natural soft tissue, which helps pharmaceutical companies test new drugs faster.
