Hot off the press! Informed by data collected by over 170 industry professionals at this year’s Conference & Expo, the National Fire Protection Association’s latest survey highlights emerging trends in digital tools, training and development, and AI implementation within the skilled trades industry. As the skilled trades evolve toward a technology-driven era, adoption of new technologies such as AI is sparking both interest and debate among industry leaders. Despite one half (47%) of skilled trade workers expressing skepticism towards leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline their day-to-day operations, a third (31%) of respondents believe AI implementation will spark industry growth to attract a younger generation of workers.
