Josh Dellaquila, our post launch account manager, works with some of our largest clients to ensure that software meets their needs and helps them make the most of our tools. Josh was always interested in politics, but he didn’t think he could make a career out of it. That perspective changed after he started as an intern in his local congresswoman’s office. Shortly after that, he joined her campaign as a fellow and helped her win re-election. Josh discovered that he could directly help get good people who supported good policies into office. That first campaign sparked his involvement in campaign work, and he hasn’t looked back since. After working as a junior staffer on multiple races for a few cycles, Josh then started managing campaigns for local municipal elections and a statewide race. He then was hired to be the voter file manager and political director for the Connecticut Democratic Party. Josh credits his advancement to his relentless work ethic and unwavering dedication to electing Democrats. “I kept building momentum and climbing the ranks by staying involved in every election, using my expertise, and connecting with people.” Realizing that he wanted to work on a presidential campaign, he decided to make the move up to Wisconsin to work during the 2020 presidential primaries for Michael Bloomberg’s campaign. After that campaign, he joined the support team at NGP VAN. As a member of our organizing support team, he answered support requests for candidates and causes across the country. Drawing on his field experience and personal knowledge of our software, Josh quickly excelled in his role and started working with our compliance team too! Because of his unique experience in the field and our company, Josh stepped into a new role as the post launch account manager where he gets to help some of the largest clients use our software to power progress everywhere. “I like to tell our new clients when I meet them that I've been a user. I've been an administrator. I've been on support. So, I've been on every side of our software, and I want to use that experience to help them achieve their goals.” While he loved working on campaigns, Josh appreciates that he can use his experience and expertise to help multiple groups from across the Democratic and progressive movement.
