He discussed the impact of Nithio's blended finance vehicle, FAIR, the Facility for Adaptation, Resilience, and Inclusion, in bridging the financing gap for Africa's off-grid solar sector. He highlighted how FAIR invests in locally owned and operated businesses that distribute solar home systems, productive use appliances, and e-mobility products to increase connectivity, improve livelihoods, and build climate resilience. Nithio's financing is powered by its Risk Analytics Engine, which integrates customer repayment data with geospatial and socioeconomic data into AI models to standardize credit risk assessment.
