Last Week New Jersey MLS held its 2024 Annual Board of Directors Meeting where our Designated REALTOR®️/Broker members were invited to view a presentation on the new policies and enhancements released this year as well as the upcoming system changes. Over the years with NJMLS Part 3/3 With the goal of providing the best technology, the NJMLS evolved its MLS system from BORIS in 1984, to PC Access/Maestro in 1995, to RE/Xplorer in 2000, and to XL Paragon in 2005. Since then, the NJMLS integrated numerous products into their system including detailed tax and property records from Realist, Remine, RPR, and NJ Property Records databases; tools like ShowingTime, Cloud CMA, zipForm-MLS Connect, Client Connect Prospect Module, RatePlug, and SocialBAY; introduced several mobile applications; and offered IDX/data feed solutions as well as syndication options to its members. #NJMLS #NewJerseyMLS

Over the years with NJMLS Part 2/3 In 1980, Real Estate Associates (as we were known back then) merged with the Central Bergen Board of REALTORS® and changed its name to Bergen County MLS. Bergen County MLS was the first MLS in the state to enter listings into a computer database that could then be shared electronically. Growth continued with the merger of the Pascack Valley Board of REALTORS® in 1982 and the Northwest Bergen Board of REALTORS® in 1995 plus the acquisition of the Passaic/West Essex MLS in 2000 and the Meadowlands MLS in 2002. #NJMLS #NewJerseyMLS

Over the years with NJMLS Part 1/3 The NJMLS began in 1977 when it was formed by the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® under the name Real Estate Associates and was comprised of 14 Offices/Brokers and 30 Sales Associates. Listing information was submitted by members by filling out listing cards by hand. These cards were gathered and pasted on paper with a photo of the listing. #NJMLS #NewJerseyMLS
