NLHA (the National Leased Housing Association) represents the interests of organizations that provide federally assisted rental housing including Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Housing Choice Vouchers and more. The organization was founded in 1972 and is widely respected as an advocate for its members, both on Capital Hill and at HUD and Treasury.
