As Halloween approaches, it's important to keep our furry friends safe and stress-free. Make sure your pets have a quiet space away from the doorbell and trick-or-treaters. Keep Halloween candies out of reach, as chocolate and certain goodies can be dangerous for pets. Consider using pet-friendly decorations, and always supervise your pets around costumes and any foreign objects. A little extra attention will keep them safe and happy this Halloween!

This sweet girl is Sadie, a 4 month old miniature Australian Shepherd. Her eye had been scratched by her cat sister and she'd already had it checked out at another veterinary hospital, but she seemed to act like it was still painful. Our exam revealed the scratch seemed to have healed, so we recommended she continue to wear the dreaded cone of shame a little while longer. Feel better soon, sweet Sadie!
