Changemakers at work! 🌍⚡ Incredibly proud of our social entrepreneurship students— Russell Tretter Max Cohen David Ray—who exemplify what it means to be problem solvers, innovators, connectors, and resilient leaders. In the spring of 2024, through a partnership with NobleReach’s Innovation for Impact course, our students tackled a real-world challenge in the solar energy sector. Working alongside problem sponsor Noel Myers, they conducted 68+ stakeholder interviews, uncovering a critical barrier to solar adoption: securing accessible, effective insurance for solar assets. Their solution? A minimum viable product (MVP)—an app designed to simplify the insurance selection process, giving businesses the confidence to invest in solar. This breakthrough led to the launch of Sunereum Labs, which recently won the Insurance Innovation Prize! 🏆 This project isn’t just about innovation—it’s about accelerating the transition to clean energy, reducing barriers to solar adoption, and driving climate impact through connecting stakeholders for better outcomes for all.
