Today marks the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. On average, 24 people per minute in the U.S. are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner. And unfortunately, countless others are subject to emotional, verbal, financial and other types of abuse. This month, everyone can take one action to help stop this epidemic and promote healthy relationships. Throughout the month we’ll share simple ways that you can make a difference by learning, helping a friend in need, speaking out, talking to kids in your life, donating to support our work and more. Go to nomore.org today to sign up to get the tools and information you need this month and beyond. #NOMORE #DVAM2024 #EndDV

Together, we can end domestic and sexual violence.
About us
NO MORE is a unifying symbol and campaign to raise public awareness and engage bystanders around ending domestic violence and sexual assault. Launched in March 2013 by a coalition of leading advocacy groups, service providers, the U.S. Department of Justice, and major corporations, NO MORE is supported by hundreds of national and local groups and by thousands of individuals, organizations, universities, and communities who are using its signature blue symbol to increase visibility for domestic violence and sexual assault. NO MORE was conceived to amplify the power of the domestic violence and sexual assault movement using a unifying symbol to drive awareness and break down the barriers of stigma, silence and shame that keep people from talking about these issues and taking action to prevent them. Co-founded as a public/private partnership, NO MORE was created as a platform for those working to end domestic violence/sexual assault, in the belief that greater dialogue will fuel enhanced funding for direct service, advocacy and prevention.

It was an honor for NO MORE and our CEO Pamela Zaballa to attend the 30th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act at The White House, alongside so many incredible advocates dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence.
🌟 My summer LinkedIn hiatus is over… and so much has happened! 30 years ago, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) was passed. It was a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, and I had the great pleasure of hearing President Biden last week share what that legislation meant for him and the barriers his team faced while making it a reality. We also heard from many other dedicated activists who pushed this through with unwavering determination. All of those with me in those steps couldn’t be more inspired, truly a unique moment. This experience reminded me of how easy it is to overlook the tremendous efforts made by so many before us, and the vast amount of work that still lies ahead. It’s a sobering reminder that only by coming together can we effect real change. A heartfelt thank you to the team at the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), led by Rosie Hidalgo for being fantastic hosts and continuing this crucial work. #VAWA #EndViolence #TogetherForChange #OVW NO MORE

Have you or someone you know experienced gaslighting? Gaslighting is a manipulative tactic often used by emotional abusers to gradually make you question your own judgment, feelings, memories, and reality. Abusers use this tactic to gain power and control over their victims. They slowly break down your confidence by making you second-guess yourself. If you or someone you know could use more information like this to recognize the signs of abuse, find resources and support, and become empowered, download our new, free guide “The Lighthouse.” It’s available now at the link in bio or nomore.org/survivors-guide #NOMORE
