Norman Lumber delivers wholesale, direct mail shipments of hardwood and softwood lumber, on time and on spec. We serve railroads, the mining industry, commercial/industrial companies, and large-scale residential construction purchasers. Our products are shipped to all parts of the railroad systems that span the U.S. and Canada. Material is produced at our sawmill in Missouri or one of partner sawmills around the country. Products are either held in stock, or cut to order for your specific project. We supply hardwood roof-support materials for the underground coal mining industry produced at our sawmill in Missouri. For customers whose specifications call for treated lumber, our facility includes a pentachloaphenal wood treating operation. Norman Lumber is a supply chain partner for industrial companies whose operations require a stable, reliable supply of 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″ and 6″ hardwood blocking. We also supply crane mats, access mats, custom, heavy duty commercial pallets, and hardwood timbers, as well as supply-treated hardwood 6x6 and 6x8 landscape ties in truckload quantities for residential purposes. We have a well-established reputation within the forest products Industry. We enjoy trusted relationships with a network of mills across the United States, making us a competitive supplier for a wide range of hardwood and softwood products. Our sawmill in Steeleville, Missouri – Arneson Timber Co. – is located on the edge of the Mark Twain National Forest. We work with the U.S. Forest Service, the Missouri Department of Conservation, private landowners, and independent loggers to source timber for our sawmill operation.
