About us
The mission of the NC Early Childhood Foundation is to marshal North Carolina’s great people, ideas, and achievements to ensure equitable access to opportunity and success for every child by the end of third grade. NCECF works to create the conditions that allow others to be most effective. We leverage and enhance the assets of our partners so everyone can do what they do best. We are committed to creating an environment that brings many voices to the table to accelerate collaboration toward a common agenda and support a shared course of action. We work to build public will, accelerate what works and ignite action that closes the achievement gap and raises outcomes for all young children. When each child is given the best opportunity to succeed—to realize their potential and contribute as productive citizens—North Carolina prospers.
