We LOVE our interns like Denia Arnold! Especially because we know that, after they leave us, they are going to go on to change the world! If you're interested in one of our paid summer internships, watch this space. We will start posting them later this fall.
This summer I had the opportunity to intern at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. It was a great experience filled with so much learning and growth. I am thrilled to share highlights from my summer studying human and animal health with the Genomics & Microbiology Research Lab and Veterinary Sciences team. The hands-on learning and research opportunities were invaluable. I had the chance to delve into projects that explored the connections between genomics, veterinary medicine, and health. I am grateful for the mentorship and support from the incredible team, which ultimately shaped my understanding and passion for this field. Excited to apply what I've learned in future endeavors!
