About us
The North Dakota CPA Society is the statewide association of Certified Public Accountants. Established in 1929, the Society has over 1700 members, consisting of CPAs, students planning to become CPAs and others affiliated with the profession. The association provides a number of specialized continuing education programs for CPAs. It also serves as an advocate / legislative "watch dog" for the profession. The Society has an affiliated organization, the NDCPAS Foundation, that awards numerous scholarships each year to area accounting students. Selection of award is done by college personnel.

What fun it was to speak in beautiful Medora, ND, for a second time this year, this time for the @North Dakota CPA Society Annual Convention. They kept me hopping with five presentations, including my opening keynote on Ethical Leadership. Along with an ethical controversy from the world cornhole championships, I was able to weave in another quote from President Theodore Roosevelt, who my Uncle Ray played in the Medora Musical 20-plus years ago.
