Last weekend we had the pleasure of meeting the Rancourt Family from Island Pond. They have five children, all born at NVRH! Mom Joshlynne said, "I tell all my friends it's worth the drive to go to NVRH! We've had the best care there!" We appreciate those kind words. It's our pleasure to serve you and your family!

RESCHEDULED MEETING - NOW, TUESDAY - AUGUST 6 ---- You're invited to an in-person community meeting to hear findings from consultant firm, Oliver Wyman, on how to further transform Vermont's healthcare system. The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) hired Oliver Wyman to lead conversations across the state to learn about access, affordability, quality, and hospital sustainability. They've spent months with community stakeholders, hospital leadership teams, and boards discussing the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare organizations as they work to achieve our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of all. Your perspective about improving healthcare services for our community is critical. Please consider attending this in-person session. RSVP here: https://buff.ly/3xxSeY6 If you're not able to make it to the event, consider sending in a public comment to GMCB at your convenience.

Miller’s Run School students Hunter, Jude, and Jaida, along with the rest of the sixth grade spent their year-long service project learning how to crochet. They picked their own colors from donated yarn, making each shawl, which they donated to NVRH, one-of-a-kind. “These shawls will go to patients in moments when they need a little comfort” NVRH Chaplain Abby Pollender says. “We greatly appreciate this kindness, thank you all so much.”
