🏀 Community Tickets Thanks to the Detroit Pistons 🏀 We’re excited to celebrate the return of the Detroit Pistons and the first game of their 2024-25 NBA season! 🎉 On Wednesday, October 23, the Pistons take on the Indiana Pacers at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Thanks to the Pistons’ Community Ticket Program, we have a limited number of tickets for camper families interested in cheering on the team! 🙌 Tip-off is at 7:00 PM, and doors open at 5:30 PM. 🎟️ To reserve tickets, please reach out to W. North Star Reach is thrilled to welcome Carly Colen and Katie French to our Board of Directors through the University of Michigan Board Fellowship Program! 🎉 Elected at our September meeting, Carly and Katie will serve a one-year term, bringing their incredible expertise and passion for making a difference to our camp community. 💫 Meet Carly: Currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at U-M’s Gerald R. Ford School, Carly has over a decade of experience in the camping world. She’s excited to use her knowledge to support our mission of bringing joy and transformative experiences to children and families. 💫 Meet Katie: A Master of Sport Management candidate at U-M’s School of Kinesiology, Katie brings her extensive background working with children facing health challenges. We can’t wait to welcome our camp community back to help with projects all around camp—building, cleaning, fixing, and maintaining our incredible site. 🏕️ Arrive Friday night, get settled into your cabin, enjoy games and campfires. Spend Saturday working with teams to complete different tasks, all while enjoying fun camp traditions like our No Hands Spaghetti Dinner!
