Ogres and Maidens and Scooby Doo, oh my! We hosted two successful Halloween events this year. At the Northwest offices, employees flexed their creativity to bring amazing themes to life. Children from a neighboring daycare stopped by to trick-or-treat and enjoy the Halloween fun! We were honored to also host students from Prince George’s County schools at Northwest Stadium for their own afternoon of Halloween haunts in partnership with the Washington Commanders! The Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, Aruna Miller, and Mark Ein, Limited Partner of the Commanders, joined us to pass out candy. Hosting these events not only boosts employee morale, but also provides a safe space for kids to trick-or-treat and create lasting memories. The Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation recently held their 9th Drive for the Driven Golf Tournament to raise funds for their scholarship program. The Foundation raised over $190,000, which will directly help students pursue higher education.
