  • 🌼 Congratulations to our DAISY Award Honoree, Elissa W., RN! 💙 When a patient was admitted to the MICU, they were anxious about the communication barriers they might face as a deaf patient. Elissa went above and beyond, taking the initiative to learn sign language to ensure the patient felt heard, understood, and supported. Her compassion and dedication turned a challenging experience into one of trust and comfort—so much so that the patient didn’t want to leave the ICU! Elissa embodies the heart of nursing, and we are proud to recognize her with the DAISY Award. 💙👏 #DAISYAward
