🌼 Congratulations to our DAISY Award Honoree, Elissa W., RN! 💙 When a patient was admitted to the MICU, they were anxious about the communication barriers they might face as a deaf patient. Elissa went above and beyond, taking the initiative to learn sign language to ensure the patient felt heard, understood, and supported. Her compassion and dedication turned a challenging experience into one of trust and comfort—so much so that the patient didn’t want to leave the ICU!
