I found it (or rather it found me). Two years ago as I was searching for what was next professionally, one of my friends/mentors Patrick Colletti asked me what kind of community I was looking for. I had to think on that for awhile and eventually wrote in my journal two significant pieces of my answer: 1. "A community that radiates peace, generosity, contentment, that is re-minding each other and encouraging one another." 2. "A community committed to this is going to create loving, creative, intelligent, loyal, faithful and powerful human beings who can rule and cultivate well". This time last year, after talking with a few trusted friends including Joseph King Barkley, I decided to invest in my vision to: become a world class executive coach, build my own practice, serve clients who are up to good things in the world (no evil masterminds), and do it alongside others (no solopreneur). The investment was a lot of time and money to someone who hadn't been on a payroll for 18 months... Today I have a six figure practice, am serving clients who are up to amazing things, and get to do it as a part of the community that I wrote about years ago - Novus Global. Pic one is me in a learning session at our Meta Performance™ Institute in February of this year... You can see Joseph's shiny head up front and the amazing coach training at the moment is Laura Lyng who has become a friend that I get to collaborate and learn with. Pic two is the Novus Global annual retreat last week in Cancun... we had such good meals, incredible amounts of fun, coached each other, got several upgrades to our practices and ways of being, and collaborated on things we are up to with clients. I LOVED being a rookie and particularly getting to know so many loving, creative, intelligent, loyal, faithful and powerful human beings who can rule and cultivate well.
