Do you love texts like this from your mother?
“in this year we are having our 30th anniversary after moving from Nicaragua with my tree boys Elias , Mario and Larry , this Thanksgiving Day theirs a lot to give ethanol”
Damn autocorrect 🤣🤣🤣
This year, we celebrate 30 years since my family’s move from Nicaragua, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride!
In the first 15 years, I laid a solid foundation - gaining an education, securing a promising career, and building a beautiful family. The subsequent 15 years have been a journey of growth and learning as an entrepreneur. With a record that’s more about learning than outright success, I’ve been part of four startup companies. Now, embarking on Novy, my fifth venture, is both humbling and rewarding.
This time around we will keep doing things different!
We’re excited for our first international company trip. Inspired by Paul Graham’s views on creativity and innovation in “How to Do Great Work,” we’re reminded:
“Changing your context can help. If you visit a new place, you’ll often find you have new ideas there. The journey itself often dislodges them.”
So we said: let’s go to Japan! 🇯🇵⛩️
Here’s to creating a great team and new memories with the exciting discoveries that await us in Japan!
