📢 Today, Nozomi Networks is excited to announce Arc Embedded, the industry’s first OT and IoT security sensor that runs embedded in Mitsubishi Electric programmable logic controllers (PLCs). With Arc Embedded, security and operations teams gain previously unavailable visibility at the process level of their industrial automation equipment and field assets as well as the ability to analyze and deter process level threats and malicious user activity without impacting current resources or disrupting mission-critical networks. As a result, organizations benefit from greater operational resilience and uptime, reduced cyber risk, and better compliance. Nozomi Arc Embedded in Mitsubishi Electric PLCs makes it possible for the first time ever for organizations to monitor east-west activity in order to detect and respond to cyber incidents at the PLC level before they can do harm or escalate across the entire industrial operations environment. 🚨 Our Labs team found four vulnerabilities in Beckhoff Automation’s TwinCAT/BSD operating system that could leave PLCs vulnerable to logic tampering or Denial-of-Service attacks, significantly impacting the supervised industrial process. These issues present impactful cyber threats, such as the potential to execute commands with root privileges on the PLC, or the possibility to induce OS-level freezes, necessitating a power cycle to resolve. Members of our APAC team were invited to Singapore for Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA)'s OT Cybersecurity Masterplan 2024, where they showcased along with our partners at Thales and OPSWAT. We had a wonderful time catching up with our partners and customers alike who came from all across the globe. Thank you for hosting Team Nozomi! #OTCEPForum2024
Last week, the Nozomi Networks APAC team (Ammar Hindi , Stephen Tan , Daren Tay ) was privileged and honoured to be invited to Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) #OTCEPForum2024 for a showcase together with our partners Thales and OPSWAT It was a great 2 days of discussion, keynotes and expert sharing. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with our partners and customers alike who came from all over Asia (and in fact globally!) with a like minded interest towards #OT Cybersecurity We were also excited to be part of the OT Masterplan 2024, and to be recognised for our involvement towards bettering the OT industry as we continue to evolve and improve this exciting and very important space that influence our day-to-day life more so than most people think. A big shout out to Christopher Anthony and CSA CIID team for the months of planning and perfect execution, and working relentlessly with us to make sure it was an impactful event. We look forward to 2025, and the continued engagement with stakeholders and the industry, as the work continues. #thosewhoknowpickNozomi Ru Ren Siak Edwin Loke Henry Low Ronnie Pedales Terry Tan
