As we continue to celebrate 🌟Hispanic Heritage Month🌟, we’re highlighting Rosmary Carrero Carvajal, one of our incredible warehouse shipping associates. When asked why this celebration is important, Rosmary said that Hispanic Heritage Month gives us the opportunity to show the contributions of the Hispanic community in the United States and the role they’ve played in helping this country grow. She also said it’s a way to be thankful for the blessings they have received in building new lives here. What she is most proud of, though, is the strength of her people: “Immigrating is a tough decision, but Latinos are resilient and hard-working. We support each other, no matter the circumstances, and we’re proud of our contributions to this country.” Her Hispanic heritage has shaped her into the confident and dedicated person she is today, carrying forward values of family, hard work, and a sense of belonging. "Hispanic families teach their children to be proud of their American and Hispanic roots, and to give back to the communities that welcome them." We are honored to have Rosmary on our team, and we celebrate her and all our Hispanic employees who make NSI a stronger, more vibrant place❤️

William Contreras is a Production Supervisor in our HVAC division. He moved to the U.S. from Colombia 40 years ago with the goal of providing for his family here and those he left behind. Although times were tough, the strength and sense of responsibility instilled in him by his parents helped him persevere. He shares a Colombian saying – “Para atrás ni para tomar impulso,” which means “not a step back even to gain momentum.” This mindset has driven William and his family through every new enterprise, adventure, and chapter.   “Even when we encounter struggle, adversity, or hardship, our Hispanic spirit and pride within ourselves make us resilient and stronger,” he shared.    William’s love for his Hispanic roots and culture 🌟 shines🌟 through in his words. He sees Hispanic Heritage Month as a time to not only celebrate the contributions and history of Hispanic and Latin communities but also to promote inclusivity and understanding across the U.S.   William - you are a true inspiration and an integral part of our team! 👏

🎉 We’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and featuring some of our amazing team members 🎉   This is Nallely Esquivel, HR Manager in our Network Infrastructure business. She believes this month, and throughout the year, is a time to celebrate the Hispanic culture and history, promoting understanding and appreciation. She also said it’s a chance to highlight the amazing things this community has accomplished.   When asked what part of her culture she is most proud of, Nallely said, “The food and family values. Food brings people together, and in my culture, family always comes first, no matter if they are relatives or someone who has been welcomed into the community.”   Thank you for sharing, Nallely.
