About us

The MLDS program provides students with a comprehensive and customized data science curriculum that’s grounded in business reality. Students engage in rigorous technical training and gain valuable industry experience, learning to identify, interpret, and communicate patterns found in vast quantities of structured and unstructured data. Since the program’s inception, 100 percent of graduates have received a job offer within three months, including offers from top companies and startups in a range of industries including tech, consulting, finance, health care, and sports. MLDS is a full-time program on Northwestern University's Evanston Campus. The cohort consists of around 50 students whose academic interests range from the liberal arts to engineering and computer sciences. They join our program with varied work experience; some enter directly from undergraduate, while others bring more than 10 years of work experience to the program.
