  • We have released our 2023 Annual Report, a look back at the innovative developments and accomplishments throughout the year that allowed the health system to expand and evolve while increasing convenience and improving care. The report covers a wide variety of inventive programs that were implemented last year to improve the patient, employee, and visitor experience. These include opening Cayuga Park, a new 5-story medical office building on the waterfront; a unique new relationship with Schuyler Emergency Medical Services; and a partnership with Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services, which extends the integrated approach to care in our community. The Annual Report also highlights donor, patient and staff impacts. One poignant story tells the story behind a multi-year $1 million philanthropic commitment by Thomas Seaman to the Cayuga Cancer Center in loving memory of his wife, Jean Seaman. Another relays comprehensive, close-to-home treatment Watkins Glen-based Michael Bartone received for his non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma within the Cayuga Health System. Read at cayugahealthmagazine.org

  • Our own Sheri Renaud MS, RN, NE-BC and Ben Leonard BA, BSN, RN presented at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing's Diversity Symposium. This annual meeting aims to examine strategies for academic nursing to achieve improvements and advances in health outcomes across vulnerable populations. We applaud them and their efforts to improve not only Cayuga Health, but the field as a whole.
