I just want to give a quick explanation on what "Physical Change" and "Chemical Change" means; these words are being used by some instrument manufactures reps terrifying customers using our NuTrace Laser with not further explanation. Matter is capable of undergoing changes, which are classified as either physical or chemical. Physical changes in matter are often reversible: An ice cube can melt into liquid water, and then the liquid water can be frozen back into an ice cube. (Or SS melt back and forward to make a Kerrison). Chemical changes, on the other hand, are NOT reversible: A log burned in a fire turn to ashes, but the ashes cannot be change back into a log. The process we use at Nutrace to mark surgical instruments DOES NOT change the physical composition of any instrument. I always encourage.. "Science Literacy will empower you to know when some else is just full of it"
