NuVision Engineering is a technology services and engineering company specializing in nuclear applications. We provide engineering expertise and proprietary services to commercial power plants and public utilities. We also design and deploy rad-hardened robotics for use in radioactive environments and advanced process systems to manage radioactive waste. Our customers include the U.S. and international governments, utility companies, and medical research facilities. NuVision is headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA and has an additional facility in Mooresville, NC to support the design and implementation of large scale demonstration and validation programs.

    DOE visited a technology demonstration of NuVision/Antech; The Universal Drum Assay and Segregation System (UDASS), a new system to more accurately analyze the contents of radioactive waste drums, was being tested on legacy waste at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Standing next to the UDASS system are U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (EM) Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Jeff Avery, right foreground, and members of the EM and Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos teams. NuVision Engineering's John Ritter provides details on the new system.
