🌍 Climate Week NYC 2024 Recap 🌍 What an incredible week it was at Climate Week NYC 2024! We had the pleasure of attending several key events focused on offshore wind, sustainability, and climate action. 🌱 Here's a recap of our highlights: 🌟 NYC Sustainability Summit & Offshore Wind Panel The Consulate General of Denmark New York, in partnership with COWI, Equinor, and Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA), hosted the Sustainability Summit NYC. Our Director, Tone Søndergaard, enjoyed moderating the panel that emphasized learnings from Empire Wind 1, focusing on how this informs future developments in the US offshore wind sector. The discussion revolved around balancing local and global supply chains and leveraging global tendering experiences to support industry growth. Thanks to Denmark In New York, DI USA, and Dansk Erhverv for hosting this incredible event. 🌟 Hosting Tours at the Hub During Climate Week, we had the pleasure of hosting tours at the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub, welcoming visitors from around the world. It was an exciting opportunity to showcase how we contribute to the NYC offshore wind ecosystem and to forge new global connections. A special thanks to New York City Economic Development Corporation and Equinor for organizing this initiative! 🌟 Brooklyn Army Terminal Offshore Wind Drinks The event was a fantastic networking opportunity, connecting us with international visitors and industry professionals. Co-hosted with amazing partners like VHB, Vestas, Bedrock Ocean Exploration, and Black & Veatch, the event provided a platform to join forces in promoting offshore wind. A big thank you to Offshore Wind Drinks and New York City Economic Development Corporation for making it happen! It was an inspiring week of insights, collaborations, and progress toward a sustainable future. 🌱 #ClimateWeekNYC #offshorewind #cleanenergy #renewable #windpower #NYC #sustainableenergy #innovation #technology #startup #community
