More building progress in New York State! The NYSERDA team recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of Johnson Park Green Community Apartments. This Buildings of Excellence Competition winner provides Utica's Cornhill community with a 3-story multifamily building that includes 51 new clean and resilient affordable apartments. Johnson Park will keep residents comfortable utilizing heat pumps, centralized energy recovery ventilation. They will also have a lower carbon footprint thanks to solar panels and induction cooktops!
