Our #OReillyInterns took another look "under the hood" at #TeamOReilly today. They visited a distribution center, where they saw how the parts ship out, and went to a store to see how the right part gets to the right place at the right time. Let's just say there's a lot of logistics involved - along with great customer service!

This team is very meticulous when it comes to choosing what parts go on our shelves! Come join #TeamOReilly and become part of our Merchandise Department as an Assistant Category Manager (ACM). The ACM is responsible for managing the products we sell. The ACM analyzes industry and O’Reilly data and visits key manufacturing facilities around the world to help chose the best supplier partners. The person in this position works with and learns from a Category Manager. The merchandise team is a great mix of industry veterans with 30+ years of experience and newer team members who graduated college in the past five years and are starting their careers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, excellent communicator, and have a willingness to learn and grow with the company. It's #Juneteenth, and #TeamOReilly was so happy to be part of the Springfield, Missouri, NAACP event! Today commemorates the day in 1865 when federal troops freed the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Our team members shared what this day means to them: “Having the opportunity to share about Juneteenth with others, especially in the community where the holiday originated, feels like progress. I can help people understand what influences our past, present, and future.” “Juneteenth is a reminder to learn about our past so we can educate and help others understand and appreciate both the struggles and triumphs we’ve endured. Living in a community so close to the origin of Juneteenth connects me to something special and historical that I value and appreciate.”
