Reach Dane's Giving Tree is officially on now through December 6th! Help us make the holidays brighter for the children in the Reach Dane Head Start program. In late December, every enrolled Head Start or Early Head Start child receives a brand-new educational toy and book that is collected through the Giving Tree Program. These moments of holiday connection give joy to a child who is often living in a great deal of stress, trauma, and transitions related to living in poverty. The Giving Tree program lets parents build memories with their children and experience the magic of the holidays. Stop by our lobby to select a heart from our "Giving Tree;" each heart has a wish for a child. Return unwrapped gifts to our lobby by December 6th. Join us in making a difference in our community this holiday season!

The annual Pumpkin Give-Away has already become a Dane County institution, having donated thousands of dollars to local charities. Oak Bank has become immersed in the Fitchburg community by involving itself with numerous events, projects, and sponsorships including the Fitchburg Farmer's Market, support of the Fitchburg Police Department, Fitchburg Concerts in the Park, the Fitchburg Fire Department, Fitchburg Boys & Girls Club, Fitchburg's Bark in the Park, and Little League, to name just a few. Oak Bank associates continue to involve themselves in local charitable organizations such as Easter Seals, Share Your Holidays, and take leadership positions in service organizations such as the Fitchburg/Verona Rotary, Downtown Madison Rotary, Fitchburg Chamber Economic Development Board, Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce, Fitchburg Days, Realtors Association, Madison Area Builders Association, Altrusa International, Inc. of Madison, and Fitchburg's New Economy Technology Team. Our Leader Founding Oak Bank was Bob Gorsuch's dream. He wanted to open a new bank able to provide quality personal service that people want. With over 40 years of banking experience, Bob's visionary leadership has resulted in a bank committed to its clients, community and shareholders. Oak Bank's annual Associate Giving Campaign is on now! Each of our associates have chosen a charity to support, and now it's up to you. Donation boxes can be found in our lobby with a picture of the associate, their name, and their chosen charity on it. The associate with the highest donation by November 22 will receive a pie in the face! More importantly, all money will be donated to their charity of choice to support our community during this giving season.
