🌱 Big News: Support + Feed and GOAL (Green Operations & Advanced Leadership) partnership collaborates with #BillieEilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR!  🌱 Support + Feed and GOAL (Green Operations & Advanced Leadership) will be featured on Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR to promote sustainable food and beverage practices at nine GOAL venues (a handful of which are owned and/or operated by OVG). Support + Feed advocates for plant-based food solutions to combat climate change and food insecurity. GOAL, co-founded by OVG, offers a comprehensive roadmap to help venues operate more sustainably. Together, we are working to reduce carbon emissions and enhance community access to healthy, plant-based foods. 🟢 What to Expect at the Venues:  🌿 Plant-based food drives  🌿 New plant-based menu options  🌿 Digital campaigns encouraging fans to try sustainable food choices  🌿 Resources on the benefits of plant-based eating  🌿 Plant Maps to guide fans to sustainable food options GOAL will also encourage Members to report environmental data that will contribute to a full footprint for Billie Eilish’s tour. Our third session of the ongoing OVG x University of South Carolina College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management Fall 2024 course: Professional Development with Oak View Group, featured a class led by Scott Anderson, Vice President, Business Services | Prevent Advisors. Welcome to the Team, Nathanael Harris!    OVG is happy to announce the appointment of Nathanael Harris as the new General Manager of the Greater Richmond Convention Center (GRCC)—Virginia’s largest meeting and exhibition facility.   With over 15 years of experience in venue management, marketing, and business development, Harris is no stranger to delivering excellence. Starting October 11, 2024, London’s downtown arena will officially be renamed Canada Life Place, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for this iconic venue. This 10-year partnership between OVG and Canada Life highlights our commitment to bringing top-tier sports, entertainment, and community events to Southwestern Ontario.    “Since opening its doors in 2002, this arena has firmly established London as a global entertainment and sports hub by attracting thousands of visitors and supporting local businesses with each event. As this iconic venue enters this exciting new phase, our partnership with Canada Life highlights our shared commitment to making a lasting impact on this community.” -Peter Luukko, Co-Chair of Oak View Group    We are excited to continue to manage and operate Canada Life Place for the City of London. Congratulations to the team at midnight by navarro's for hosting Oceana’s 2024 New York Gala at the mastercard midnight theatre! It was a lovely evening presented by Blancpain to support Oceana, the largest international organization dedicated solely to ocean conservation. Nearly $1.8 million was raised for Oceana’s campaigns to protect and restore the oceans around the world. We proudly celebrate this year’s #HispanicHeritageMonth theme - “Weaving Our History: Celebrating Shared Roots and Cultural Threads." Throughout the month, OVG is exploring and commemorating the shared historical and cultural roots that connect Hispanic communities across various Latin American countries. OVG employees illustrate the rich and varied tapestry of Hispanic cultures by showcasing their flags in this video. Led by our Hispanic Latin Alliance ERG, we also host various events throughout the year to continue offering employees ways to engage with other members of their community and showcase their culture. ✍🏼 A Networking en Español Summer Series, which paired members with one another as “pen pals” to communicate with over six weeks, including weekly discussion prompts and networking guides. This provided employees the opportunity to connect and learn about one another’s backgrounds, including the chance to practice speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and French in acknowledgment of the diversity of languages spoken across Latin America and the Caribbean. Last week, Frameless hosted ‘The Duke of Edinburgh's International Awards,'.✨ We supported in elevating the event further by creating a themed menu that complemented the stunning immersive artworks of the galleries, fully immersing guests in their surroundings.🌿 The menu reflected a nature-inspired theme, with a focus on the forest. We began with some of our favourite canapés, followed by a three-course menu. The culinary highlight of the evening was the "Walking Through the Woods" dessert, featuring a roasted chocolate acorn, pistachio moss, bitter chocolate soil, and wild berry sorbet.
