OASIS Pediatric Therapy empowers children with delays/disabilities and their families to maximize independence and life satisfaction, by providing progressive in home physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as resources and respite for the underserved in Colorado. We are a heart and people centered service provider, that serves families as a whole, and not just individuals. Our goal is to be the very best at what we do, not the biggest, with a mission to serve the underserved families and children of Colorado. We are founded and run by two of Northern Colorado's best and most established therapists, with over 40 years of combined experience, as well as working mothers. They are intimately acquainted with the experience and struggles of both parents of children with delays/disabilities and of clinicians. We strongly believe that the foundation of great service begins with the genuine care, support, and respect of our service providers. Therefor we offer the best wages, flexible schedules and locations, as well as a genuinely nurturing working environment and community. We operate with the very best technologies and operating systems to facilitate the most accurate and efficient medical records, documents, records and communication, which results in more attention and energy towards patients instead of paperwork. In honor of PT month, we wanted to share more information about pediatric physical therapists and when it may be helpful to seek physical therapy services for your child. Your child may be in need of pediatric physical therapy if they are experiencing any of the following: 🔸Your baby prefers to turn their head only to one side 🔸Your baby has trouble lifting their head 🔸Trouble tolerating tummy time 🔸Trouble crawling or walking 🔸Trouble sitting or standing without support 🔸They have trouble walking up and downstairs (after the age of 4) 🔸They don’t like to run and play with their peers 🔸Trouble walking and running without frequently tripping or falling 🔸Trouble learning how to jump, skip, ride a bike, or play sports 🔸Trouble catching or throwing a ball 🔸They have trouble sitting up straight while sitting on the floor, preferring instead to rest their head on their hands. Slumping or slouching at a desk is another clue. We are grateful for a great team of physical therapists on both our home health and outpatient clinic teams that support kiddos and their families!
