This weekend, on 27 October, she will host an all-female gathering in Windhoek, aimed at connecting aspiring medical students and interns with experienced female leaders in the profession.     The Ndama Clinic in Rundu has been without water for the past few weeks due to low water pressure. Affirmative Repositioning activist Angelina Immanuel revealed this to the Windhoek Observer on Wednesday.     ANGULA APPOINTED: Justice Hosea Angula, Deputy Judge-President of the High Court of Namibia, has been appointed as a Supreme Court judge, effective 1 December 2024.     UNITED: The Governor of the Erongo Region, Neville Andre, along with the police and Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) officials convened a meeting with political parties representatives to promote peace and unity ahead of the upcoming elections at Swakopmund. During the meeting on Friday, Andre explained that the purpose was to ensure that the elections are conducted in a peaceful, calm, and incident-free environment.     The Affirmative Repositioning (AR) Movement has announced its intention to investigate what it calls a waste of infrastructure and taxpayers’ money. The planned investigation involves an abandoned crocodile farm near the Kwando River at Kongola in the Zambezi region, valued at N$100 million at the time of its inception. AR’s chairperson in the Kongola Constituency on Thursday told the Windhoek Observer that they stumbled upon the project during an oversight visit in the area of Kongola last weekend. https://lnkd.in/ddP2n8kG
