Our team members activate our Core Value of Inclusive Teamwork in many different ways–including spending their Saturday rowing together at the 23rd Annual Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival! This year, Ocean Spray's team, organized by our Multicultural Employee Resource Group, placed second in their division, a testament to their hard work and camaraderie during a few short weeks of training. Our North American farmer-owners have been busy throughout summer preparing for the upcoming fall harvest. Fruit has set on our North American farms and will increase in size for the next few weeks. As fruit sizes up, growers continue to make sure their vines receive the nutrients they need during this critical window. Vine nutrition is one of those key areas where decisions impact cranberry vine health and harvest for multiple years! Bud initiation for next year’s crop is underway, making irrigation and nutrient timing decisions especially important this time of year when plants are actively pulling water to keep cool and progress through fruit sizing. Brent Wagner joined Ocean Spray to broaden his horizons, taking on a role as a Maintenance Planner in our Tomah Plant as a new career path. This pivotal moment not only validated Brent’s skills but also paved the way for his career progression within our organization, as he now serves as a Sr. Materials Planner. Brent’s journey has been defined by seizing opportunities and growing within a dynamic manufacturing environment. “I have found Ocean Spray’s food manufacturing environment is extremely diverse.
