Ocean Mist Farms was thrilled to participate in the California State University, Monterey Bay @AgriculturalPlantAndSoilSciences Ag Career & Internship Fair this week in Seaside. Kate Burr, Judy Kelso @VickyCabrera @JavierGonzalez and @KevinHealy met with students to talk about career and internship opportunities with Ocean Mist Farms, many of whom shared their personal connection to Ocean Mist. We left feeling excited and encouraged by the level of talent and enthusiasm of these young students who are eager to learn and eventually begin their career in this industry that we all love – agriculture! 💚

Ocean Mist Farms has been in relentless pursuit of excellence since our founders came here from Italy over 100 years ago in 1924 and began growing artichokes in the fertile and nutrient-rich Castroville fields, cooled naturally by Monterey Bay breezes. A century – and four generations – later, we are the largest grower/shipper of artichokes in North America. We remain committed to the same level of service and quality standards that our forefathers established a century ago.
