✨Happy 34th Anniversary to O'Connor Woods!✨ Opened in 1988, O'Connor Woods was founded with the vision of establishing a senior living community that offers a continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing. Over three decades later and this is still the vision of O'Connor Woods today. To celebrate the anniversary, team members and residents hosted a multicultural event to highlight the different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences of the individuals that make up the O'Connor Woods community. Team members wore traditional clothing from their respective heritages and shared cultural dishes to celebrate the community's rich diversity. An incredible time was had by everyone at the O’Connor Woods Crab Feed! 🦀✨ An evening filled with community, tradition, and giving back, our Crab Feed fundraiser brought together residents, staff, and the greater OCW community while telling the story of our nonprofit's journey. Such a spectacular event would not have been possible without the hard work and support from our OCW staff and residents who lent a helping hand during set-up. The funds raised during this vibrant evening directly contribute to enhancing the lives of our residents across all levels of care. From a delightful social hour fostering connections to a feast some attendees described as "the best crab feed in town" - the O'Connor Woods Crab Feed was nothing short of amazing. And let's not forget the excitement of a silent auction and fabulous raffle prizes, including a much-anticipated $1,000 Raffle Grand Prize! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this sold-out event.
