🚀 Just wrapped up our M09 ODE4HERA meeting! ✈️ What’s an M09 meeting, you ask? Every three months, the entire ODE4HERA consortium comes together, alternating between online and in-person meetings. Today, we had our third consortium meeting, held in Month 9 (M09) of the project. These gatherings are crucial for keeping everyone aligned. We discussed coordination, dissemination, and communication activities, reviewed the technical progress of each work package, and gathered invaluable feedback from all partners. We kicked-off the definition of the Common Ontology Bases based on SysMLv2 enabling exchange between the different ODE4HERA Platform modules. Additionally, we reviewed the Platform Requirement Model based on RDF. Nine months in, and we’re proud to say great technical strides have been made! Thank you to everyone who took part! Introducing the final work package, WP6: Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation! WP6 is designed to implement a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy for the consortium. The primary goal is to create an ecosystem of tools and processes that facilitate the prompt and efficient dissemination of our achievements. By targeting relevant stakeholders, we aim to fulfil our obligations to the European citizenry and technically involved communities, while also promoting the topic of open access. Moreover, WP6 will develop an exploitation roadmap for consortium partners, ensuring that Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are managed effectively, whether for single or joint ownership. This roadmap is essential for leveraging our innovations and maximising their impact. A thorough technical understanding will enable consortium members to convey the right messages in alignment with the project's goals. Leading WP6 is esploro projects GmbH, a top consulting firm known for its expertise in managing and shaping successful aeronautic research projects. With strategic locations in Bremen Airport City, Hamburg Finkenwerder (ZAL), and Toulouse, esploro projects GmbH works closely with key decision-makers on prominent aeronautic research projects within the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programs. Their team of highly motivated project managers, with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience, is dedicated to driving projects from conception to successful completion. As a consortium member in projects like #SMRACAP, #FASTERH2, and #UPWing, esploro projects GmbH brings its valuable DCE experience to ODE4HERA, ensuring regulated interaction with all connected projects within Clean Aviation. At the helm of WP6 is Alexander Vidic, who has 25 years of experience in Research & Technology management and technical operations. With a background in aircraft design/evaluation and aircraft operations/systems, he now further broadens his expertise in Clean Aviation projects. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding WP6 towards its ambitious goals. This marks the final post in our series, having introduced all six work packages of the ODE4HERA project. We hope these insights have provided a comprehensive overview of our mission and the dedicated teams working to transform the future of aviation. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to keeping you updated as the project progresses! #CleanAviation #WorkBreakdownStructure #Communication

Introducing Work Package 5: HER Application Case 2! WP5 is dedicated to the validation of the Open Digital Platform (ODP) for HERA, focusing specifically on a regional aircraft configuration. This validation aims to assess the ODP's capability to perform Multi-Disciplinary Analysis and Optimization (MDAO), including Uncertainty Quantification (UQ), with the ultimate goal of enhancing aircraft performance and minimizing weight. Additionally, WP5 aims to validate the ODP's capabilities in design space exploration and verification and validation of the HERA configuration. Leading the charge in WP5 is Airbus Defence and Space (ADS), a global leader in the manufacturing of military transport aircraft. With state-of-the-art ground and flight facilities, ADS possesses the expertise and infrastructure necessary for the design, validation, verification, maintenance, and service of various aircraft platforms, including regional aircraft. At the helm of WP5 is Dr. Andrea Masi, who joined Airbus Defence and Space in 2017. Armed with a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Cambridge, Andrea brings a wealth of expertise as an Aerodynamics Engineer and Integration Manager for Digitalization and Processes, Methods & Tools in the department of Flight Physics. His leadership ensures that WP5 advances with precision and purpose towards achieving its objectives. Stay tuned for the presentation of the final work package, WP6! #CleanAviation #WorkBreakDownStructure #ApplicationCase

So excited to see the outcome!! We’ve just wrapped up the final film interviews at the ODE4HERA M06 workshop (see previous Linked-In post). The Siemens site in Chatillon provided the perfect location for the film. A heartfelt thank you to all our interviewees – María Dolores Jiménez Sánchez, Pacôme Magnin, Francesco Torrigiani & Alfredo Renzetti - who stepped in front of the camera. That was a challenging exercise, but you really did a great job! #CleanAviation #FilmInterviews #Teamwork #Communication #Siemens
