Today, London Correctional Institution celebrated a major milestone: 100 years! Retirees, staff, and those whose lives have been changed at this facility showed up to celebrate the event. LoCI staff unveiled a new monument to mark the occasion. Thank you to all the staff members over the decades who have helped make London Correctional Institution what it is today.

Grafton's Correctional staff Community Engagement Team (CET) assisted the local Salvation Army in providing fresh vegetables to community residents. This team was formed to offer community service to local residents and businesses, with the aim of fostering positive community interactions and relationships that will encourage positive interactions with ODRC. Great work!

Noble Correctional Institution's mental health and recovery services staff coordinated the prison's Overdose Awareness Day programming. The day culminated with participants taking part in a memorial walk and placing illumination bags around the aqua garden in the middle of the compound. The white bags had names inscribed on them of loved ones lost to an overdose. They included a battery-operated light inside so the glow could be seen in the evening across the yard, and be a visual reminder of the devastation caused by drugs.

A volunteer event for Trumbull Correctional Institution's staff has become a much larger calling. Both staff and men incarcerated at TCI put in the work to help build beds for children in need through Sleep in Heavenly Peace. TCI's carpentry class prepared the wood needed for the beds while staff assembled them. Thanks to their hard work, 40 children in Trumbull County will be getting new beds!
