We know the water and wastewater sector is facing a huge workforce issue as many experienced workers near retirement. The first step in having a career in wastewater is often obtaining your Wastewater Operator's License. This can be a challenge for many and we are here to help! OWEA is proud to announce our first Wastewater Training Academy (WTA) course - Basic Wastewater. This course will not only aid in attendees passing their licensure exam, but will train them to be excellent operators. Basic Wastewater utilizes the Water Environment Federation's Wastewater Fundamentals I & II, along with material specifically created for OWEA. This course is the most up to date and student tested course to aid in licensure available in Ohio. We are launching this course in multiple areas of the state. Check it out and help your employees be the future of wastewater! https://lnkd.in/gNHpSbKf #water #wastewater #professionaldevelopment #operators #licensure #workforce #workforcedevelopment #tested
