HF-11 Aerodynamics. From day one of the project Aerodynamicists were part of the program and helped arrange the packaging and internal engineering. The key was not to affect occupant position, comfort and alignment, keeping the driving position and experience comfortable, natural and pure. With a big priority placed on ground effects, the engine suspension and radiator were all rearranged to maximize aerodynamic performance. While extra care was also taken to keep the design as close as possible to the original intent, while clearing drag performance targets. A great team effort. The HF-11 looks different, because of a unique set of aerodynamic choices.

2026 HF-11 The result of a global team, working in silence for 3 years developing a radical new approach to enthusiasts vehicles. An approach that started with Oilstainlab building a past, and infusing that DNA into the all new HF-11. This has resulted in an ultra lightweight, minimalist and agnostic approach opening new possibilities. Therefore HF-11 is available as either an EV or Combustion, bridging past and present. The bespoke carbon fiber was optimised for occupant safety, comfort and aerodynamic performance. Oilstainlab is excited to finally exit stealth mode, hello world. Over the next few weeks we will announce our partners, team members and advisors that have all come together to build a company with lasting impact.

HF-11. The past overtakes the future. 36 months of stealth development has led to this. We have built out an incredible team of engineers, designers, manufacturing experts, supply chain and industry leading advisors. Built to a long term vision but with immediate impact. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us in the early days, took a shot on a small team of dreamers, and gave us the patience to develop and build in silence. We can't wait to start announcing our partners, team and advisors over the next few weeks of roll-out. As well as begin testing of development mule. Launch images courtesy of Sebastian Simonsson

Global Digital Reveal. 10.8.24. The past overtakes the future, finally.... Over the past 36 months, Oilstainlab has lived two lives, one firmly anchored in the past, with our Half-11 prototype, a love letter to 1960's Motorsport. We drove that car cross country, raced up the hill at Goodwood and attended events like The Quail at Monterey Car week. The world confused and dazed by the project. But, during all of this we were also building a future, on the anchor of our past, and now like a good cliffhanger of a movie, everything will become clear. Oilstainlab has always obfuscated reality, blending time, place and myth into an addicting brand message. And so for the last 36 months a global team of experts have been working on the HF-11 a "no-excuses" car. Thank you to these maniacs, for all their knowledge, talent, and passion and sharing this insane journey. Built by maniacs for maniacs. Not a middle finger to our industry, but rather a love letter to it. There are so many incredible brands, big and small, making cars that are unbelievably well sorted, technologically advanced and utterly unique. We have had to utterly distill our vision, brand, engineering and point of view to create something we hope will stand out and leave a small mark on one of the toughest industries to crack. Oilstainlab is a brand unlike any other, anchored in a past we didn't have, but rather built and lived. This gives us a different perspective on the future, and we can't wait to shock the world.

Some very good questions and conversations with Brandon. Brilliant chat! Our very different approach "the past overtakes the future" to building an automotive brand, while misunderstood over the last few years is now starting to become clearer as the puzzle pieces drop into place......

Nikita Bridan (Oilstainlab) thinks there's something missing in the automotive space. Even in today's hypercars. They're fast. But they're heavy, they look similar, and they're missing a human connection. Nikita and his brother, Iliya Bridan, are doing something unique. Something for maniacs. This isn't my typical space for the Future of Mobility podcast, but there's a greater truth here that extends well beyond exclusive performance cars. Although I couldn't attend in person this year, the highlights from Monterey Car Week 2024 have been nothing short of spectacular. Here are a few standout moments that caught my eye: McLaren Automotive Ltd shone with a tribute to Ayrton Senna's 30th anniversary, featuring exclusive events with Bruno Senna, at The Quail. The homage to the racing legend was unforgettable. Another showstopper was Tuthill Porsche. Their beautifully restored and modified Porsche models perfectly captured the essence of performance and heritage. Oilstainlab wowed with their bold design and innovative approach, pushing the boundaries of automotive aesthetics and sustainability. Porsche made waves with the stunning 993 Speedster and the model from RUF Automobile GmbH, the "RUF Rodeo", blending classic design with modern performance and off-road capabilities. And how about that purple jewel at The Quail? The world debut of the Eccentrica V12 at The Quail was a highlight, with its modern take on the Diablo featuring a V12 engine and cutting-edge design. Nilu27 impressed with their automotive art and new hypercar. The foundation of this masterpiece is a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with tubular aluminum alloy subframes. It's a tribute to raw driving and analog experience, powered by a stunning 6.5-liter V12 engine that was on full display. Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. also made headlines with the unveiling of the Lamborghini Temerario, the second model in their HPEV lineup after the Revuelto. Monterey Car Week is a celebration of automotive passion and innovation. I’m excited to see some of these innovators again at our upcoming event in November in Irvine! 🚀 Stay tuned for more updates and get ready for another round of extraordinary automotive experiences! Half11 x Goodwood. Childhood dream come true. The UK car community and Goodwood crowd are incredible, thank you for the warm welcome, all the support and help. This truly is the end cap for this project, and the start of the new one. HF-11 is coming soon, built on our decades of experience in the OEM space as well as the raw, soul, emotion, noise and grin inducing experience that is the Half11. Time for the Past to overtake the Future.

We are back with Season 2 of our Gestalten Podcast in 2024! This time, we will be focusing our entire season on Car Design in California! California has been a hub of Car Design for over 50 years and in the coming 6 episodes, we will exploring the historic past, present of future of the car design culture if the Golden State and its impact on car design in the US and of course globally. Our illustrious guests in this season include Andre Franco Luis, Sasha Selipanov, David R. Woodhouse, Ian Cartabiano and the Oilstainlab founders Nikita Bridan & Iliya Bridan. To kick off the season, I had the pleasure to sit down in lovely Newport Beach some weeks ago with the Californian design legend and the one and only Chris Chapman! Few people have so much to say about the culture and the early days of the advanced studios in Southern California than him! Whether you're an automotive enthusiast, a design professional, or simply curious about the creative forces behind your favorite cars, this episode promises to be a treasure trove of insights and inspiration.
