OIRRC is proud to recognize our team members, Habiba Faiz and Syeda Sharaf un Nisa, who recently participated in and contributed to a hands-on training session on the NIDEK MP-3S Microperimeter at AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY Hospital’s Eye Clinic. Led by our expert Mauro Campigotto, the session covered key topics, including Fixation and Microperimetry exams, photopic and scotopic analysis, and low-vision rehabilitation through biofeedback protocol. This collaboration not only allowed our team to gain valuable experience but also enabled OIRRC to share its expertise with the University, contributing to the advancement of research and eye care in Pakistan. By introducing cutting-edge technology that’s not widely available in the region, OIRRC is helping elevate clinical practices and supporting future innovations in ophthalmic research. At OIRRC, we’re committed to fostering continuous learning and driving progress in the industry to benefit both our patients and the broader medical community. Here’s to many more impactful collaborations like this! #OIRRC #KnowledgeSharing #Microperimetry #LearningAndDevelopment #AKUHEyeClinic #InnovationInEyeCare
I, along with Syeda Sharaf un Nisa, recently attended a training session on NIDEK MP-3S Microperimeter conducted at #Agha_Khan University Hospital’s Eye Clinic, conducted by Mauro Campigotto The training provided insight to a quick device introduction, Photopic and Scotopic Settings, Low-vision Workflow, Biofeedback Exam ending with some hands-on training session. I had the chance to both operate the device and be a test patient which helped with understanding the exam from both perspectives. OIRRC has served as a platform for learning ever since I joined the organization. Special thanks to my director Rubbia Afridi for providing the opportunity. What made this even more special is that this device cannot be commonly found in Pakistan, so just getting a chance to be able to work with it was a great pleasure! So deeply thankful to #AKUH Eye Clinic for making this possible. And ofcourse thanks to Farhana Abdullah and Zishan Haider for managing all of this for our team. A great experience and many more to come!
