We have officially registered as a "Safe & Sound Week" participant with OSHA! 🙌 Safe & Sound Week is August 12-18, 2024 and we are participating to show our commitment to safety and to help raise awareness about safety in the workplace. This week, O-pa's safety ambassadors will participate in fire safety training and provide personal accounts on "why safety matters." We will also offer opportunities for all staff, including "Stop the Bleed" training later this month.

Back to School season is in full swing! 🎒 This weekend, we were proud to be a part of the Omaha United for Youth's 6th Annual Back2School Bash at Benson Park! On Sunday, Omaha United for Youth was able give school supplies to over 2,500 students and their families in the Omaha area. Nothing helps a student feel ready for the school year like new supplies, new clothes and a fresh haircut, and we feel so honored that we got to be a part of this special day! ❤️

Our Nebraska Theater Academy program is looking for adjudicators to join us for the 24/25 season! 🌟 NTA Adjudicators travel across the state to provide educational feedback to high school theater programs throughout the school year. This position is incredibly flexible and self-scheduled and is ideal for college students, freelance theater artists, retirees and more! We are so proud of our Nebraska High School Theater Academy students Samara and Derek and how they represented O-pa during their big trip to NYC for The Jimmy Awards! 🏆 Samara was named the week's Rising Star for impressive advancement during the Jimmy Awards program. 🌟 While in New York, they got to explore the city, attend the Tony Awards, see MJ the Musical AND let their talents shine on stage at the 2024 Jimmy Awards. 💛 We're excited to see what the future has in store for them!
