I'm excited to announce that Anthony Castellanos has been promoted to Banquet Sous Chef! Since joining Omni in 2019, Anthony has worked at two different properties and taken on a variety of roles that have helped him reach this new milestone. Congratulations, Anthony!

The Olympics may have wrapped up in Paris, but the Cultural Olympics are just heating up at Omni PGA Frisco Resort! Throughout August, our departments are battling it out in a series of exciting events. Yesterday, we dodged our way through Zombie Dodgeball at Lounge by Top Golf, and today, we swung for the fences with a Longest Drive competition at Ice House. We can't wait to see what the rest of the month has in store and to celebrate our champions at the upcoming All Associate Rally! Let the games continue!

We're thrilled to announce that Matthew Scott has been promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager at Ryder Cup Grille! Matthew joined us in 2023 as a talented bartender, and his dedication and hard work have truly made an impact. We're excited to see him grow and continue to flourish with us. We are excited to announce Jillian McGhee's promotion to Director of Housekeeping at Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Over her five years with Omni Hotels & Resorts, Jill has shown exceptional leadership and dedication, consistently raising the bar for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Please join us in congratulating Jill on her well-deserved promotion. We are thrilled to see her continue to excel in her new role.

Join us in congratulating Christopher Shearer on his promotion to Hotel Cost Controller. Christopher has been with Omni Hotels & Resorts for over 10 years, starting at the Omni Dallas Hotel as a server and working his way up to Assistant Restaurant Manager. He transferred to Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star in 2018, growing his career in Food & Beverage and then in Purchasing. Christopher was a key member of the opening team for Omni PGA Frisco Resort as our In Room Dining Manager. He is now ready to take on new responsibilities in our Accounting department. We are confident that Christopher's exemplary customer service, problem-solving skills, and adaptability will ensure his success in his new role.

Today, our Lounge by Topgolf Team held a special All Together Get Together (ATGT) event with a fun college twist. We are proud to recognize Alana Mann, Avery Cunningham, and Haylee Martin, who have been with us since the Resort's opening. These incredible team members are now ready to embark on an exciting journey as they head off to college. To commemorate their time with us, their management team presented them with Omni PGA Frisco Resort tote bags signed by their fellow Associates. This gesture reflects the strong bond and camaraderie we share. Remember, once you're part of the Omni PGA Frisco Resort family, you're family forever. Wishing Alana, Avery, and Haylee all the best as they take this next step in their lives!

All Together Get Togethers (ATGTs) allow each department to meet monthly for updates, training, announcements, and team feedback. These meetings are powerful and effective! This week our Purchasing and Receiving team took their ATGT meeting offsite and toured Sysco and FreshPoint, Inc. warehouse facilities. They learned supply chain secrets and got an inside look at top-notch operations, storage, and distribution. We love seeing the dedication of our associates as they go out into the local community to further their knowledge for themselves, their team, and the property as a whole!
