Omni Federal’s Brian Fox recently launched Orbital Convergence, a new podcast with Gordon Deng. In this podcast Gordon and Brian will be diving into topics with technology leaders to discuss the current efforts to modernize digital capabilities to support the US Space Force. Episode 3 has just been released! In this episode, Brian and Gordon discuss the unique challenges of measuring ROI within the Department of Defense. They dive into the specific process of how ROI is calculated in the DoD and how it differs from other industry practices. The two co-hosts ended with talking about opportunities and ways to make this process smoother and how to optimize this going forward. Team Omni Federal was busy in October! We kicked off the month heading to San Antonio for the San Antonio IT Networking Group’s 2024 Oktoberfest! The team had a blast dressing up, connecting with others at the event and finishing the weekend off with a round of golf! We then headed to Maryland for the Fisher House Foundation Gala, where the event helped to raise nearly $200,000 to help with the construction of a future Fisher House being built in Perry Point, MD. The team also attended AUSA, the DOD/VA and Government Health IT Summit and DODIIS. We joined in at the PSI Charity Golf Tournament to help raise money for families dealing with childhood cancer. And we rounded up the month with 2 amazing demos, pitching our Redhound Joint Cyber Hunt Kit and Forge C2!
