Are you up to speed on the latest developments related to the EPA’s Risk Management Program (RMP) Rule? Recently the EPA issued a final rule expanding RMP regulations for facilities managing certain quantities of regulated chemicals. This rule reinstates requirements from previous versions and introduces new obligations that enhance safety measures. Yesterday’s 22nd annual Virginia Environmental Health & Safety (VEHS) Conference was a success! ONE has always enjoyed sponsoring this conference – the Virginia Manufacturers Association’s premier event of the year – which does such a great job of gathering local industry environmental leaders, regulators, legislators and allies to share information, best practices and technology.

Digging deep here! ONE recently installed four permanent groundwater monitoring wells at a former motor freight station turned commercial office and retail property in the trendy Design District of Dallas, Texas. The ONE team is currently managing and overseeing the property within the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and obtaining a Municipal Setting Designation (MSD) for the property.

Say hello to Trent Cheyney, an Environmental Consultant serving clients out of ONE’s Midlothian, Virginia office. Trent has significant experience conducting Phase 1 and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Lead Surveys, Asbestos Surveys, and more for large industrial clients across the southeast. Among other qualifications, he has earned certification from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and is authorized to use Portable Nuclear Density Gauges. Our recent all-hands Morale Event in Asheville, NC was a hit, complete with a Friday night trivia session, and in true Olympic fashion, a Saturday field day with team activities, a relay race and more. Love it when this team gets together as ONE!
