YEP—Youth Empowered Philanthropy—is a program ran by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne that teaches high schoolers in Allen County about the world of charitable giving. Each year, a select group of students in grades 10-12 meet—not only learn about nonprofit work—but to make real decisions, with real money, to create an impact in the community. In an effort to promote the program and allow the students themselves to become ambassadors to future YEP participants, OLG created video content that gave an upbeat overview of how the program operates and insight into what the current class has learned along the way.

Finding Foxtale is a friendship-driven clothing company that offers enriching, curated shopping experiences for each unique child, parent and stylist, because they believe that by combining two formative experiences of self-discovery—the everyday activity of getting dressed, and the beloved tradition of storytelling—children can envision themselves anew, and help others to do the same. The font is reminiscent of traditional storybooks, and to bring the idea of unexpected friendships to life, the icon features a bird and fox, which also lends to a friendly storybook feel. Knowing the icon would be used on clothing, simplicity in its design was also essential—it would need to be reproduced in small sizes, such as on buttons, yet strong enough to work in textile formats, such as embroidery.

Celebrate Erin Blair's third OLG-iversary with us! This year, each OLG’er will receive a (surprise!) illustration for their anniversary, created by their colleague, Jonathan Barker. Each custom design is inspired by their personal interests + a style that reflects their personality + a “lucky guitar” that we think embodies those things! The sum of those pieces? Artwork as one-of-a-kind as they are. Erin and her daughters' shared love of Taylor Swift inspired her illustration. With a minimalistic and nostalgic style, the illustration features Taylor's favorite number on the hand—13—cropped to only show the three. The bracelets depict some of Erin's favorite things, and her spirit guitar is the pink Gibson J-180 electric/acoustic (Taylor's preferred).

When Fort Wayne Swim & Wellness secured the rights to the 2024 USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials pool, One Lucky Guitar partnered with the organization to develop an awareness campaign that would build support and enthusiasm for the facility it would call home. The campaign juxtaposed competitive swimming phrases with the ways the Olympic pool’s relocation to Fort Wayne will benefit every community member. Messaging supported strategic goals of economic development, water safety and strengthening the swimming community.

Humane Fort Wayne has moved to its fur-ever home, to help even more pets find theirs! As they planned for their big move, OLG partnered with the organization to help raise awareness and invite community members to its opening events. The new state-of-the-art facility is located at 901 Leesburg Road. Key messaging included a phased move, with public open houses occurring before the animals and clinic services were in the space. We concepted a campaign theme to carry the message forth—Home Sweet New Home. The message was brought to life through radio, outdoor, direct mail, website, digital ads and more! One Lucky Guitar was also involved in environmental design of the space, helping to bring the brand to life through unique opportunities such as a sign made of tennis balls and a “One Lucky Family” photo opportunity once pets have been adopted.
