Do you want to be part of the 2024 OpenDP Community Meeting? Are you working on a project that you’d love to get feedback or participation? Maybe you have an opportunity to share or promote a new feature to a product with the diverse OpenDP Community. We are excited to open the call for Pitch Anything! This was such a success last year and we know many of you are keen to get involved! This year, we will have THREE sets of 4-5 pitches as part of the agenda. We hope to have one of these sessions dedicated to students to share their work. Ideally, we'd love you to be in person and the pitch itself would be 3-5 minutes. The session (as well as the meeting itself) will be recorded so that people can even refer to it after the Community Meeting on our social channels and the OpenDP websites. Are you ready for another release? We are excited to announce that OpenDP Library v0.10 is here! This release focuses on improving the library user experience and finding what they need quickly in the OpenDP library. Features include a new integration with the Polars DataFrame library, reorganization of library documentation and usability improvements, and stronger linting and static analysis of our Python source code. We will continue to update the website as the agenda progresses toward August 22nd and 23rd, but you can REGISTER NOW (it’s free but required to attend in person and/or receive virtual information). The OpenDP Community Meeting is co-located with the Theory and Practice of Differential Privacy workshop (TPDP) and we are working on a number of networking and social events for the week.
