The Open Mobility Foundation (OMF) is a non-profit open-source foundation with a mission to revolutionize urban mobility by uniting cities, mobility companies, and software vendors to develop and deploy innovative digital infrastructure tools that support cities’ policy goals and emerging private sector technologies. Our vision is to transform how cities manage public space in the digital era. As a public-private partnership, OMF leads the creation of open-source tools that empower public agencies to manage mobility effectively. Our work enables digital-savvy approaches to regulation, scalable mobility services, and the responsible management of public spaces. Led by cities and supported by over 65 diverse members, OMF is at the forefront of creating technology-driven solutions for modern urban mobility.
