The fall hurricane season continues to cause historic damage to our southeastern United States. As we watch the wreckage, there’s so many questions and concerns. What about all the animals? Our dedicated team has worked with our incredible shelter and rescue partners across the country to welcome an additional 37 animals into our care tonight that have been impacted by the recent hurricanes. Arriving on an emergency flight from Florida to Texas, these 11 dogs and 26 cats will make a wonderful addition to our Operation Kindness family. It is here at our shelter, that they will receive the care and warmth that they need before finding new loving homes. In times like these, we stand ready and willing to do what is needed, no matter what happens next. Your support allows us to provide safety, food and medical care for animals and shelters impacted by the storms — and for other pets in need across Texas. Your support allows us to save more lives when the call comes. Make your lifesaving gift now through the link down below. ❤️ SAVE LIVES HERE: https://lnkd.in/geunYsiS

For Sunny the Saint Bernard, his story had a tough beginning. Sunny came to us from a municipal shelter with his siblings, and we knew this litter of hungry pups would need medical attention, lots of nutritious food and a very special new home where they could grow as big as their fluffy coats. Being born blind, Sunny needed extra special care. As a large-breed dog, we knew Sunny’s had a chance of being overlooked in Texas. However, by transporting him and his siblings to an out-of-state shelter it allowed him more opportunity to find the perfect, loving home. Working with a shelter partner in Maine, Sunny went north and found the family of his dreams. We’re thrilled to share that Sunny is thriving with lots of cuddles and walks in the fresh Maine air. Journeys like these are only possible thanks to supporters like you. With your early North Texas Giving Day gift, your donation helps to ensure pets like Sunny can thrive and find the loving homes they deserve! It's not too late to help us reach our goal of $350, 000 and save more lives. GIVE YOUR LIFESAVING GIFT NOW: https://lnkd.in/dMXFFinE
