I am Private First Class Leslie Allen Bellrichard, a soldier who served in the crucible of the Vietnam War with Company C, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division. On May 20, 1967, in Pleiku Province, Republic of Vietnam, I displayed conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity, actions that posthumously earned me the Medal of Honor. During a fierce enemy attack on our unit's perimeter, I stood my ground as a fire-team leader. After a devastating 30-minute mortar barrage, the enemy launched a ground assault. Undeterred, I rose to my feet in the face of charging enemy soldiers, throwing hand grenades into their midst, eliminating several and forcing the rest to retreat. As the enemy regrouped and launched a second assault, I resumed my grenade assault. In the midst of this chaos, a mortar round exploded in front of my position, knocking me into a foxhole and causing me to lose my grip on an armed grenade. In an instant, I recognized the imminent threat to my comrades and selflessly threw myself upon the grenade, shielding them from the blast. Though seriously wounded, I struggled into an upright position, continuing to fire my rifle at the enemy until succumbing to my injuries. My selfless heroism greatly contributed to the successful defense of our position, saving the lives of several comrades. Born on December 4, 1941, in Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, and awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously on July 10, 1969, by President Richard M. Nixon at the White House, I rest in Oakhill Cemetery, Janesville, Wisconsin, leaving behind a legacy. (1st person story on a real person. This is a new journalistic angle from our history team.)

The sky's the limit if we stop labeling things as impossible. We chat, we share dreams, and big plans surface. Yet, amid the enthusiasm, there's sometimes this whisper saying, "It's impossible." Picture this: what if we kicked that notion to the curb? What if, instead of setting up barriers, we embraced the idea that we can achieve anything we set our minds to? Make the so-called 'impossible' your mission. Because missions, we know how to handle. REMEMBER: The only limits are the ones you set. Break through them. 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘺 𝘚𝘗𝘊 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯 𝘚. 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘒𝘰𝘸𝘯

Complacency is a silent assassin, lurking in the shadows of success. It kills ambition, stifles progress, and erodes the very foundation of achievement. When we grow comfortable, content with the status quo, innovation withers, and aspirations fade. Complacency kills dreams—don't let it claim yours.
